This well known, record breaking Day Ticket venue is made up of two stretches of the Lee Navigation up and down stream of the weir. There is a great variety of fishing at the site for the coarse angler but the main attraction has to be the monster Chub. The British record for the species was broken here on the weir pool with an 8lb 13oz specimen. As well as the weir pool there are long sections of natural and canalised river with specific swims for disabled anglers. There's a public house with restaurant, cafe and bait machine on site

Species
Main species are Chub (to record sizes), Bream, Barbel, Roach, Tench, Pike, Perch and a small number of large Carp.

Hotspots
Essex Road swims on weir pool and far bank of Navigation upstream of the Fish 'n' Eels Public House.

Tips
In the weir area there are some very large Chub, the occasional large Barbel and Carp. Good baits for these are boilies, luncheon meat, cheese, worms or raw steak. A good time to try for the Chub is just after dark. Light waggler or pole tactics score well on the Navigation with maggot generally the top bait. Loose feed liberally but keep ground bait to a minimum.

Restrictions
Maximum of two rods per angler.

Day Tickets are only available from the Lee Valley Park Fishery Bailiff on the bank side.
