The Fishery sits in parkland surrounding Spains Hall and overlooked by the 14th Century manor house which gives the estate its name.
Stocked in 2002 with Common, Mirror and Koi carp ranging from 3-25lbs the fishery has been producing excellent specimen fish ever since. Every fish caught is in excellent condition and the lake is netted annually to ensure a good balance of small, medium and a few large fish. There is rumoured to be one around the 25lb mark, but no one has yet caught him... could you be the first?
