Rousebarn lake is in easy reach of Watford and contains large numbers of a variety of species.

Specimen carp are present in reasonable numbers approaching 30lb in weight, with a large head of fish in the 10-20lb range. These are caught on a variety of methods, with boilies on the bottom and floating baits accounting for most fish.

In addition to the carp there is also a decent head of bream and tench present as well as roach, rudd, perch and pike. There are also a small number of crucian carp in the lake including two specimens that are caught from time to time and weight up to about 4lb.

Due to its easy access this lake can prove popular at times, especially with junior members, but you can generally turn up anytime and find a place to fish.
