the Waterhole is a 17-acre gravel pit averaging thirteen feet in depth. The Waterhole has two private car parks as well as being provided with chemical toilet facilities. This water contains many 'specimen' fish. Unfortunately a fish kill occurred during the 1998/99 season, which affected the carp population. However, re-stocking has taken place and we are now back to the stocking levels of 98/99. We can still boast a number of 30lb + carp and are confident the water will soon return to its best. Other fish in the water include Bream averaging 9lbs, Tench to 11lbs, Pike to 28lbs, Eels to 7lb and Perch to 3lb. The water is well managed and Baliffed with an on-going habitat improvement programme.
