Fish stocking - Sizes - Other species: There are around 60 carp up to 25lb as well as pike, tench, perch, roach and rudd.
Best baits, tactics etc: Boilies for bottom fishing, mixers for floater fishing or stalking with particles/naturals.
Popular swims, areas: The Boat House Swim and The Cliff Swim.
Winter Fishing: Very productive during the day. Best to bait up an area a couple of days in advance.
Facilities: None - It's a very natural lake in the middle of nowhere. The village of Northaw does have two pubs. Potters Bar that is only a few miles away has a small fishing tackle shop.
Rules / Guidelines: Mainly common Sense rules apply (see rules).
Membership: The syndicate has a maximum of 30 members.
Open Season: The season runs from 1st June - 31st March
Cost: Syndicate membership costs £140 per year.
