LOCATION: Fishers Green Lane, Waltham Abbey, Essex. EN9 2ED
SIZE: Lake: 40 acres.
Hooks Marsh holds some of the biggest tench in the Lea Valley and offers a great chance of a double-figure fish whose sizes are improving year by year. Although the fishing is not easy, anglers who persevere will be rewarded. The Marsh also produces big bream occasionally and with a small head of carp present makes this interesting fishing! Winter piking is also productive.
